Thanks to volunteers Joel Kraft and Liz Jeans.

Tuesday, June 8, we met at the parking lot of St. Francis Xavier Church at 4:30. Four EcoKids out of twelve were present. Volunteer dance teacher, Liz Jeans worked on dance steps to "Shoppin for a Better World". Joel Kraft accompanied on the guitar. There still weren’t enough of the EcoKids present to do a full rehearsal. Thanks to volunteers Joel Kraft and Liz Jeans.

I spent time talking to the EcoKids on the phone since our first two poorly attended rehearsals. One EcoKid who had decided to quit, did some thinking about his commitment and decided to come back. His attitude really shifted and he came back willing to give 200%. It felt so good to witness his integrity. Two other EcoKids also quit bringing our number to ten.

During the days, volunteers Pat Spring, Patty Cawthon and I worked on scenery and got it ready for the first performance.

Wednesday, June 9, we met at the parking lot of St. Francis Xavier Church at 4:30. Ten of the remaining ten EcoKids were present. We rehearsed.

Thursday, June 10, we met at the parking lot of St. Francis Xavier Church at 4:30. Seven EcoKids were present for Rehearsal. Two kids came an hour late.

Pat Spring came and worked on having props ready. Liz Jeans helped the kids with the dance number. Joel Kraft accompanied the music. Thanks.

The kids think they are ready. They complain that the rehearsals are boring but they don’t know their parts. We shall see.

Friday, June 11, we met at the parking lot of St. Francis Xavier Church at 4:30. Six EcoKids were present for Rehearsal. Since most of the kids don’t know the songs I will have song sheets printed. Thanks to Joel Kraft for accompanying the music.
